Originally from Scotland I came to the United States in 1987 on a Fulbright Scholarship and received a Master of Arts from the University of Dallas. Following graduation I participated in a number of artist residency programs and received both national and regional artist grants.
In 1993 I moved to Los Angeles. Starting at the ground level as an art department P.A. I have worked as a set designer, assistant art director and illustrator. For the past twenty years I have helped to realize the visions of numerous designers and directors as a set and prop illustrator and occasional storyboard artist in feature, television and commercial productions.
I have produced work in a range of styles from cartoons to architectural renderings and from clean photo composite drawings to moody digital paintings. My work incorporates both traditional and digital media.
I currently live in Burbank, CA.
